Newton Taekwondo Black belt represents opposite of a
taekwondo white belt. White belt means
innocence and a new start in Surrey Taekwondo. Thus, black belt
represents not so innocent; a knowledge gained in their studies for kids
martial art in Newton, BC.
In ITF Newton martial arts, there are 9 levels of Taekwondo
black belt levels called Dan in Korean hangul.
The nine black belts levels can
be compared to post secondary education system personified by Bachelor’s
degree, Masters degree, and Doctorate degree.
The meanings will be described as follows:
Taekwondo black belt levels from 1st to 4th
Dan represent a new beginning of taekwondo learning. Achieving first Dan represents you have
mastered the basics and are now ready to move into the finer details of your Newton
martial arts and Taekwondo mastery. These
four stages of early black belt represent a more intensive taekwondo studies
beyond the basics. You are equipping
yourself with higher stages of learning.
Taekwondo studies suddenly jumps into further intricate and deeper
taekwondo studies into advanced hand and foot areas. ITF newton Taekwondo patterns offer
significant and more complexed coordination skills and new forms of self
defense.
Taekwondo black belt levels from 5th to 7th
Dan represent further new advanced Newton martial arts
concepts as demonstrated by exciting pattern memorization. ITF Taekwondo patterns names represents importantly
Korean historical events and meanings as such.
They are beautiful to watch as they offer intrinsic artistic qualities
unique to taekwondo and karate in Newton, BC – Delta, BC - Surrey, BC.
Taekwondo black belts levels from 8th- 9th
Dan represent the highest levels at Jong Kim Martial Arts in Newton, BC
– Surrey, BC – Delta, BC. To reach 9th
is highest taekwondo level and one who does so, is considered a taekwondo
grandmaster! If one is lucky enough,
he/she may reach this pinnacle level of Newton Taekwondo within one’s
lifetime.
The first 4 taekwondo Dans are demonstrated through
incredible physical skills and maturity within the black belt’s way of
thinking. The following 2 Dans continue
to showcase fantastic physical skills and a further maturing of taekwondo
philosophy. The grandmaster level
represents a spiritual and philosophical approach.
At our Surrey – Newton Martial Arts academy, reaching
a 4th dan qualifies being addressed as Master. It is a great achievement in the intermediary
taekwondo black belt journey.
